Dozens upon dozens of brightly decorated cars, trucks, vans, and trailers make their way down the street throwing treats along the way. Go early with a lawn chair and be prepared to cheer on the parade entries.

Hosted by the City of Dripping Springs and the Founders Day Commission, which includes representatives of various community organizations, the proceeds from the festival are donated back into the community and directly benefit local non-profit organizations, churches, school and park programs, youth groups, and charities.
